History
Three Beefmaster breeders decided to combine their strengths, knowledge, experience, expertise, genetic pools and resources in order to improve the establishment of extraordinary individual studs, as well as the communal presentation and marketing of top quality Beefmasters.
The studs, Sarwipi, Snowy River and Union Beefmasters, were establish through the use of genetic material obtained from ground breaking animals in the South African Beefmaster industry.
Breeding Programme
Stud improvement has been achieved by means of strong selection, through the use of our own, underlying and independent visual evaluations, performance testing, accurate record keeping as well as the application of Lasater values, the use of excellent bulls and finally, artificial insemination.
These inputs, based on an economic and scientific base, the use of sound veld management on the Highveld and animal health, have made a large contribution toward the improvement of our incomes. It is our goal to add value to your stud through the use of productive, high quality animals.
